About SmartLockPro
SmartLockPro exists to fix a specific gap. Plenty of locksmiths can fit a smart lock. Far fewer can configure the software behind it — guest codes that expire on their own, booking-platform integration, access management across a portfolio. That software layer is the part that actually solves your problem, and it's the part most installations skip.
Who you're dealing with
SmartLockPro was founded by Henry Dennis, who leads the team. Before this, he built TIOO — an operating system for short-let property managers, covering direct bookings, channel sync with Airbnb and Booking.com, automated guest check-in, messaging, cleaning schedules and invoicing.
One of the things TIOO integrates is TTLock, which meant a long time spent on the unglamorous side of smart locks: what the API actually returns, how codes get issued and revoked against a real booking calendar, what breaks when a gateway drops offline, and why a lock that pairs fine over Bluetooth can still be useless to a host who is forty minutes away.
That software knowledge is what shapes how the whole team works. It's an unusual background in this trade, and it's exactly why the configuration gets done properly rather than left on factory defaults.
Installations are carried out by our own installers, working to the same setup and handover process on every job, so what you get doesn't depend on who turns up.
Why the software half matters
A smart lock fitted and left on defaults is a lockbox with extra steps. You still set codes by hand. You still can't see who came in. You still drive over when something goes wrong.
Done properly, the lock is connected to how you actually run the property: codes generated per booking or per tenancy, separate recurring access for cleaners and contractors, an access log you can check, and an account in your name that keeps working whether or not you ever speak to us again.
What we don't claim
SmartLockPro is newly launched. We think you should know what that means rather than find out later.
- We're not a Master Locksmiths Association approved company, and we don't claim manufacturer certifications we haven't earned.
- We're not currently VAT registered, so there's no VAT on our prices.
What we do have is the software background above, a written guarantee, and fixed prices agreed before any work starts.
What's covered
All installations carry a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If something we fitted stops working, we come back and fix it at no charge. The full terms are on our terms page, including the independent dispute resolution service we've committed to if we ever can't sort something out between us.
Where we work
SmartLockPro is a Manchester business, covering the city and the surrounding Northwest — Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside and Wigan. If you're just outside, ask anyway; coverage is expanding. You can check your postcode on the coverage area page.
